This is not a food blog, though I admit the title is terribly deceptive. This is a blog about family, friendship, traditions, and adventures, about reliving old memories and creating new ones, and about the warm, satisfying feeling that comes from sharing a meal with others. At its heart, this blog is about my dad. The man who taught me to cook, to cherish the very simple pleasure of making a meal and enjoying both the process and the result. So, yes there will be recipes, menus, and an overabundance of terribly amateurish food photography, but all of that is just a vehicle to talk about the people, experiences, and emotions that make every meal meaningful.
